The new Sophos switch series offers a range of network access layer switches that provide, power and control device access to the LAN edge. Customers benefit from the combinable solutions from a single source: central administration, overview and problem solving.
With its new range of managed switches, Sophos offers its customers another option for optimizing the management of devices in the network. By integrating the access layer switches - whether for 8, 24 or 48 1 GE or 2,5 GE ports - into existing security structures, the solutions remain in one hand. With decisive advantages for the users, who can control the security measures via a central console: more transparent, easier to manage and more direct in troubleshooting.
One provider for the entire network stack
Simple setup, seamless integration into existing security tools and the future, central operation of all Sophos products used via Sophos Central streamline and simplify device management, especially with many remote workplaces. Users can either use the Sophos Central platform, the local web interface, the command line interface or SNMP for additional configuration options.
Easily set up, transparently managed
Sophos access layer switches are located at the LAN edge and can interact exclusively with end devices (PCs, laptops, printers, security cameras, IP phones or kiosk systems). They are the "gatekeepers" for the entire network and play a central role in network segmentation. The switches also have Power-over-Ethernet options for powering PoE-enabled devices.
