The cyber defense specialist G DATA is launching a new solution for Exchange Online. G DATA 365 Mail Protection is designed to stop dangerous emails before they cause damage. The Mail Security Gateway is placed in front of the Microsoft Exchange Online mailboxes.

G DATA 365 Mail Protection is intended to reliably protect companies and their employees from dangerous messages. The solution was developed specifically for the use of Exchange Online and relies on a self-developed anti-malware engine – for maximum protection. This means that malicious emails don't even reach employees' mailboxes and phishing and malicious code campaigns are nipped in the bud. G DATA 365 Mail Protection is now available.

Every German working person receives an average of 42 emails per day (source: Bitkom). Cybercriminals often use electronic mail to launch an attack on a company with email attachments containing malicious code or links to phishing websites.

The German cyber defense manufacturer is bringing G DATA 365 Mail Protection, a solution for Exchange Online, onto the market. This protects companies from dangerous emails, attachments contaminated with malicious code and links to phishing or fraudulent websites. The Mail Security Gateway is placed in front of the Microsoft Exchange Online mailboxes and blocks dangerous and unwanted messages at the earliest possible point. This means that the emails don't even end up in the employees' mailboxes.

Averted dangers in view

The quarantine entries from Exchange Online and G DATA 365 Mail Protection can be combined into a single dashboard upon customer request. This means that IT managers do not have to work with several overview platforms at the same time. Quarantine settings can be made individually. In addition, mailboxes can be specifically checked for malicious emails using an on-demand scan.

G DATA's mail security solution also has a spam filter, which means that unwanted messages are filtered out and no longer end up in your mailboxes. Administrators can block individual addresses or entire domains and import their own allow and block lists.

Advantages of G DATA 365 Mail Protection
