The German network and security manufacturer LANCOM Systems confirmed its top position in this year's "Professional User Rating Security Solutions" by the analyst firm techconsult. For the sixth time in a row, LANCOM received the best user ratings in the Virtual Private Network (VPN) solution area and was once again the frontrunner in Germany's largest user study in the field of IT security.

For the independent study, techconsult surveyed over 2021 application experts from security solutions in October 2.000 about their satisfaction with market-relevant solutions and their providers. Both in the solution and in the manufacturer rating, the users attested LANCOM's top performance in all the disciplines surveyed. The company from Würselen receives top marks for the performance of its VPN routers, gateways and clients as well as their range of functions. In the "Solution Benefits" category, too, users give LANCOM the top spot when it comes to "reducing damage from security incidents", "more efficient work through secure solutions" and "reducing the burden on the IT department".

In the manufacturer evaluation, LANCOM achieved the best rating of all evaluated providers in the categories "sales partner", "price and purchase models" as well as "service and support". The Aachen-based company also leads the customer satisfaction ranking in the "Overall product portfolio" and "Manufacturer loyalty" categories: users recommend LANCOM's VPN solutions without reservation and would buy them again at any time.

LANCOM founder and managing director Ralf Koenzen is delighted with the repeated top ranking: "The satisfaction of our users and customers is the highest award for us and the greatest motivation for the entire LANCOM team. Today more than ever, network security determines the success of companies. We are proud to be making a contribution to a secure, digitally sovereign network infrastructure with our VPN routers, gateways and clients 'Made in Germany'.”

Raphael Napieralski, responsible analyst at techconsult, adds: "The sometimes rapid expansion of the home office in the wake of the corona pandemic has made the secure connection of remote workplaces to the company network the key to business continuity. The fact that LANCOM can be happy about the top marks from users for the sixth time in a row is undoubtedly an impressive result.”
