Encrypt sensitive data securely in the cloud

Thanks to the proxy encryption architecture, sensitive company data can be protected in a compliant and GDPR-compliant manner.

eperi® presents its new encryption adapter for ServiceNow. This means that all sensitive and business-critical data for cloud-based workflow and process automation with ServiceNow is compliant and reliably protected with the help of eperi encryption technology. The seamless integration and the technical structure of the eperi REST Protection Proxy used also ensure that the functionality within the ServiceNow system is not impaired.

Especially for sensitive data

The eperi REST Protection Proxy is a data encryption solution specifically designed to protect sensitive information in REST web services. It is integrated into the REST data stream to ensure end-to-end encryption of transmitted and stored data.

Companies that use professional process automation in the cloud-based ServiceNow often process highly sensitive information in this system. This includes data about employees and customers as well as information about contracts, orders, suppliers or even information about the company's IT and security infrastructure. In addition to the special duty of care for sensitive data, which is regulated by legislators worldwide, companies also see a high need for security in their own interest. Because data protection is the responsibility of the customer, not the cloud provider.

With the eperi adapter for ServiceNow, companies now have the opportunity to protect their valuable and sensitive data in every phase of processing and storage with the help of encryption or tokenization in ServiceNow - consistently from the device on which the data is processed, up to the cloud. In this way, companies retain full control over the data, since the keys are only available from the customer and never from ServiceNow, the cloud provider or eperi.

Universal use

The eperi REST Protection Proxy is used where companies need to protect their data from unauthorized access by third parties. Service providers who want to offer their customers an uncomplicated way to encrypt their data or development teams who need to protect their productive data can also do this with the eperi REST Protection Proxy. Once the proxy is set up, new REST endpoints can be easily configured. Thanks to the patented multi-cloud technology, the synchronization of encrypted data between different cloud applications is possible without any problems: Another solution from eperi is the REST Protection Proxy for HubSpopt.
