IT security training: Bundesverband IT-Sicherheit eV (TeleTrusT) publishes a nationwide overview of relevant courses in order to more easily meet the need for qualified experts.

The majority of German IT decision-makers still see the lack of skilled workers in the IT security sector as a problem. Along with cloud applications, mobile computing, industrial security and the "Internet of Things" as well as increasingly targeted cyber attacks, the need for qualified experts is growing. The Bundesverband IT-Sicherheit eV (TeleTrusT) has created a nationwide overview of courses.

IT security requires demanding training and further education

Many teaching institutions have recognized the need and set up appropriate courses. The Bundesverband IT-Sicherheit eV (TeleTrusT) welcomes this development and has created a nationwide overview of current courses. Young professionals who would like to find out more about study opportunities will find clues here for further orientation.

Prof. Norbert Pohlmann, TeleTrusT chairman and director of the Institute for Internet Security at the Westfälische Hochschule: “An IT security degree provides well-founded and practical knowledge of architectures, concepts, principles, mechanisms and properties in the field of IT and security systems. In this way, we enable interested young people to actively participate in securing the digital future by, among other things, finding security gaps before criminal hackers can exploit them for their own purposes or by developing necessary and innovative IT security solutions, to create a secure and trustworthy foundation for the ongoing digitization.”
