With immediate effect, it-sa 365 is expanding the it-sa Expo & Congress trade fair with a high-performance online offering that is available all year round: “The digital dialogue platform it-sa 365 brings IT security providers and experts together all year round and offers them the latest information. This means that the 'Home of IT Security' now also has a digital address, ”explains Frank Venjakob, Director it-sa. it-sa 365 remains online as a year-round offer; the next it-sa Expo & Congress in the Exhibition Center Nuremberg will take place from October 12th to 14th, 2021.

145 lectures, workshops, panel discussions and other "actions" broadcast live, company profiles of the IT security providers involved and detailed product information, as well as a comprehensive set of specialist information - it-sa 365 is convincing Platform set for permanent access. They then remain, together with the networking function for personal contact, available as a permanent offer for registered users.

Program of the launch days with IT security from A to Z

The thematic spectrum of the contributions to the launch days of it-sa 365 was as broad as that at the it-sa Expo & Congress: From A for Awareness to Z for Zero Trust Model, the providers offered a complete overview of the topic of IT security and informed about new trends. On the supplier side - as usual from the fair - well-known manufacturers, distributors and resellers were represented, as well as system houses, security service providers, consultants and universities.

Jake Davis: "Get the hacker mindset in your infosec team!"

The participants did not have to do without the special keynote either: This year ex-Anonymous member Jake Davis continued the series that was so popular at the fair. He showed that there is not a criminal motive behind every hack and that it is worthwhile to slip into the role of the attacker in order to make your own systems more secure. His appeal: "Get the hacker mindset in your infosec team!"

Asvin is the winner of the UP20 @ it-sa AWARD

At the pitch for the UP20 @ it-sa Award, the team from the Stuttgart company Asvin was able to prevail among ten nominated startups. The company, which was founded in 2018, convinced the participants of the platform with its toolbox for more security in the Internet of Things. They were able to vote after the virtual short presentations of the competitors and thus helped Asvin to win.

The motto: Networking - Solutions - Knowledge

"With it-sa 365 we are offering a new service that promotes the exchange between IT security experts - 365 days a year!" Michael Melcher, Executive Director Digital Products & Platforms. A core element of it-sa 365 is the “networking” function. It allows registered participants to find other profiles interested in individual topics and to arrange chat or video conversations with one another. Participants can find and contact the providers and IT security companies involved can approach experts who are looking for the products on offer.

It-sa 365 Launch Days program remains online

The program of the Launch Days was completely recorded. The video recordings will soon be available online on the platform and will remain available until the next it-sa. Registered members can still make appointments with each other and enter into direct dialogue in the chat or via the video call function.
