Greater data security and better cyber defense: The provider Commvault has now integrated various other security solution providers into its cloud platform.
Commvault has announced partnerships to integrate its solutions with data security and intelligence offerings from pioneering cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and cloud companies. The recently announced Commvault Cloud now includes offerings from Avira, Darktrace, Databrick, Entrust, Netskope, Palo Alto Networks and Trellix, among others.
Greater data transparency through partnership
Industry leaders from the areas mentioned are integrating their offerings with the new Commvault cloud platform. In the future, they and Commvault will be able to offer joint customers more options to quickly identify, protect against and respond to potential threats and attacks. At the same time, the partnership increases data transparency and governance. Commvault works with providers of various cybersecurity technologies. This includes companies in the areas of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR), Network Detection and Response (NDR), vulnerability and threat detection and assessment, incident management, data governance and data protection.
61 percent fear data loss
The integration of security and artificial intelligence is on the agenda right now as companies face attacks from cyber criminals on an unprecedented scale. Cyber security leaders are very concerned about how hackers can disrupt ongoing business operations or damage brand reputation. According to a recent IDC study commissioned by Commvault, 61 percent of respondents believe that data loss within the next XNUMX months is “likely” to “very likely” due to increasingly sophisticated access.

Given these ongoing concerns, Commvault believes collaboration is the key to improving data security. Earlier this year, Commvault announced integrations with CyberArk, Microsoft Sentinel and Palo Alto Networks.
