Modern techniques and solutions are presented.

The focus of the event is on the topic of "Zero Trust" and the possible protection of identities as well as security monitoring, microsegmentation for Zero Trust and AI-supported threat detection and response in the cloud.

congress @ it-sa on October 11, 2021 from 12:30 p.m.

After a short welcome, cirosec managing director Stefan Strobel addressed the topic of "Zero Trust". He explains the origin and ideas of this approach, contrasts it with the established concepts of IT security and shows where the approach actually represents new perspectives. In addition, he goes into the various interpretations of "Zero Trust" by the individual manufacturers and thus clarifies the range of possible forms as well as the boundaries between marketing and actual benefit for the user.

IT security: These innovative products are presented

Security Information Monitoring and Reporting - AMPEG

The AMPEG Security Lighthouse enables a permanent determination of the current security level. It offers security management, administrators and also the process owner an up-to-date view of the security situation in the company - worldwide and almost in real time. This means that countermeasures can also be taken specifically and efficiently for critical infrastructures (KRITIS).

Protection of identities - Semperis

Semperis ensures the integrity and availability of critical corporate directory services at every step and thus protects identities from cyber attacks, data leakage and operating errors. The solution detects weak points in directories, can ward off ongoing cyber attacks and significantly shortens the time for any necessary restoration.

AI-powered threat detection and response in the cloud - Vectra

With the help of artificial intelligence, the Vectra platform detects hidden cyber threats that escape conventional security controls and spread to cloud, data center and corporate infrastructures. It also enables attacks to be responded to, followed up on and investigated.

Microsegmentation for Zero Trust - Illumio

Illumio's solution detects and prevents attacks from spreading through automated segmentation. To do this, the solution analyzes the communication and the dependencies between the various applications and their components and in this way generates optimal segmentation guidelines that can be implemented directly on the servers. By decoupling the segmentation from the network infrastructure, previously known problems are avoided.

The event will take place on October 11, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. to 18:00 p.m. on the exhibition grounds in Nuremberg and is free of charge for participants

The target group are IT security officers, administrators, network managers, IT managers, IT security officers, data protection officers and auditors.
