The updated imageRUNNER and imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX printers are equipped with device, data and network protection that ensures security at every stage of the document lifecycle. The latest security firmware provides end-to-end security and both product lines support encrypted file sharing with TLS1.3, WPA3 and SMB 3.1.1, while the imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX products additionally support FIPS 140-3 for a certified encryption performance.

All devices in the updated portfolio also have two-factor authentication, which provides increased protection in addition to the stricter password rules. In order to ensure protection against cyber attacks, companies can get an overview thanks to the secure status visualization. The multifunction systems are also supported by the security navigator function, with which security settings can be made independently for different network environments without external help.
