The Bundesverband IT-Sicherheit eV (TeleTrusT) is organizing the annual IT security law day on September 21.09.2022, 2.0 in Berlin, in which the current legal situation and legislative, implementation and certification initiatives are presented and discussed. The focus is again on the practical application of the IT Security Act XNUMX.

The IT Security Act 2.0 (ITSIG) raises a number of questions of a political, legal, technical and organizational nature that call for comment. According to the legal matter, the analysis must be interdisciplinary, i.e. from a legal, political and technical point of view. The Bundesverband IT-Sicherheit is committed to this interdisciplinarity.

What is important in the IT Security Act 2.0

RA Karsten U. Bartels, LL.M., Deputy TeleTrusT CEO and Head of TeleTrusT-AG “Legal”: “The implementation of legal requirements in IT security is becoming more and more complex - legally, technically and organizationally. At the 7th TeleTrusT IT Security Law Day, we will therefore openly and practically explain and discuss what is particularly important in the IT Security Act 2.0 and the GDPR. We also take a look at national security and the perspectives of regulators and certifiers.”

The event is designed to be practical in order to give every interested party the opportunity to find out about the current legal situation, to get to know the possibilities of legally compliant implementation and to make valuable contacts. Therefore, the TeleTrusT "IT Security Law Day" is aimed at interested parties from companies and public institutions and authorities of all sizes.

The event will take place on September 21.09.2022, 09 in Berlin from 30:55 a.m. at the Hotel Courtyard by Marriott Berlin, Axel-Springer-Strasse 10117, XNUMX Berlin.
