Identify vulnerabilities faster – reduce cyber risks

Reduce cyber risks: Tanium announces new modules

Share post

Tanium's new modules help you identify vulnerabilities more quickly and improve digital employee experiences. All of these points reduce cyber risks for companies.

Tanium, endpoint management specialist, has added new Tanium Digital Employee Experience (DEX) features to its platform. This is a new module for XEM Core. The new products, features and updates are designed to expand Tanium's core capabilities and improve its performance and usability.

Innovations include:

How the new features for DEX can automatically resolve digital experience issues, measure and track employee sentiment, and maintain uptime
How the new Tanium Investigate module reduces risk and eliminates downtime by dramatically reducing the MTTR (Mean Time to Remediate) for security and operational incidents
How our platform update brings further speed improvements, allowing users to monitor and manage endpoints in half the clicks.

New features: Tanium DEX

The digital experience of hybrid workforces is more important than ever. But many organizations still lack the tools necessary to monitor, manage and improve these experiences at scale. Tanium DEX solves this problem. It provides its users with real-time visibility, scalable control, and a data-driven understanding of how companies can improve their employees' digital experiences.

Tanium DEX now includes two new key features:

1. Custom automated self-remediation

Tanium DEX already has a library of automated self-remediation features that can immediately resolve common issues. Now you can extend this library with your own customized automated self-remediation routines.

2. User Sentiment Score and Reporting

Tanium DEX is designed to increase employee engagement, productivity and efficiency by improving their digital experiences. With User Sentiment Score and Reporting, executives can create sentiment scores based on user surveys and data and track them at the company and user levels.

New module: Tanium Investigate

IT failures are expensive and often cost companies more than 500.000 euros per hour. And those are just the immediate costs. Failures also lead to friction among employees, which can have a negative impact on satisfaction and customer loyalty.

Tanium’s new module – Investigate – solves this problem. It provides a single solution that enables faster and more accurate incident investigations, seamlessly transitions to incident remediation, and dramatically improves MTTR.

Tanium Investigate offers some great benefits including:

  • Collection of all relevant IT operational and security data needed for an investigation
  • Providing historical and real-time endpoint data, presenting the data to provide meaningful insights and actionable next steps
  • Shared workspace where users can collaborate, share investigative data, analyze and derive insights, and agree on causality and remediation
  • ServiceNow integration to guide helpdesk users into the investigation
  • Seamlessly transition to remote, scalable remediation in real time
  • Show business value through metrics like MTTR and ticket prevention

Tanium platform upgrade

The entire Tanium platform receives a major upgrade, now delivering more data at higher speeds than previous versions. At the same time, a more intuitive user interface was created - including a quick search bar at the top of the console. This allows users to ask questions, run reports, or view dashboards from anywhere on the platform. And the result? Users can now monitor and manage each endpoint with half as many clicks.
