CrowdStrike is the first security vendor to offer prevention, detection and response capabilities for IoT and OT endpoints. The XDR-IoT solution aims to provide comprehensive protection for Internet of Things assets.

CrowdStrike introduces CrowdStrike Falcon® Insight for IoT, the world's first EDR/XDR solution for Extended Internet of Things (XIoT) assets. Delivered via the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, the new offering enables enterprises to apply CrowdStrike's renowned protection, detection and response capabilities to IoT, OT, medical devices, Industrial IoT and other connected devices. This means customers can now secure their business with the same platform for XIoT, IT endpoints, cloud workloads, identity and data.

CrowdStrike Falcon Insight for IoT

  • XIoT Threat Detection for Risk Reduction: Significantly improve business continuity by detecting threats - such as ransomware or malicious project file modifications - by leveraging asset-specific context such as device type, OS version, logs and more.
  • Threat protection without impacting uptime: With CrowdStrike's best-in-class AI-based threat prevention, threats are nipped in the bud. Custom policy recommendations for XIoT assets enable organizations to limit system load and easily manage sensor updates.
  • Fast and Reliable Response for Hard-to-Patch Assets: Threats can be contained quickly with built-in response measures such as host/process containment and USB device control that minimize service disruption.
