Fortinet will host a free Expert's View webinar on December 15, 2021 on “Understanding IEC 62443 and Getting Security Functions Correct”.

IEC 62443 is the global standard for the security of OT environments, which is intended to help organizations reduce the risk of failure and exposure to cyber threats to OT networks. The standard requires that security professionals not only understand their organization's hardware and its interactions, but also know how to identify a threat, how to report it, and how to respond and recover.

Fortinet IEC 62443 webinar on December 15, 2021 from 15:00 p.m.

As part of the Expert's View, Heiko Adamczyk, an IEC 62443 expert from TÜV Süd and Daniel Buhmann, OT Systems Engineer at Fortinet, will talk about the challenges of using IEC 62443. In particular, the technical requirements of security functions in the standard, their feasibility in today's OT environments and compensating protective measures are discussed.
