Trend Micro introduces its new portfolio of endpoint security suites. This becomes much clearer and offers improved and more flexible options for partners who offer managed services and detection & response. With Worry-Free XDR, Trend Micro is also expanding its XDR (Cross-Layer Detection & Response) platform to include the SME sector.

Trend Micro is streamlining and modernizing its endpoint security portfolio. With immediate effect, Apex One SaaS and Apex One On-Premise are two new enterprise suites for endpoint security that are gradually replacing the existing portfolio. The new suites ensure that customers have the latest security technology and are therefore always optimally protected. With a subscription-based billing model for both versions (SaaS and on-premise), the Japanese IT security provider is responding to increasing customer demands for reduced investment hurdles.

Both suites can also be expanded to include capabilities for XDR. Trend Micro XDR is a SaaS platform that enables detection & response across different levels such as endpoints, servers, cloud workloads, networks and email. These can be booked flexibly by companies in order to adapt to current security requirements.

Worry-Free XDR enables detection & response for SMEs

Complex threats and the lack of security specialists are responsible for the fact that small and medium-sized companies in particular are increasingly relying on cooperation with a managed service provider (MSP). According to the analyst firm ESG, 85 percent of companies state that detecting threats and reacting to them is becoming increasingly difficult because there is a lack of qualified security experts and the number of sophisticated attacks is increasing.

Trend Micros Worry-Free solutions are optimized for small and medium-sized companies as well as offering them as a managed service. Switching from existing customers to these solutions offers partners the opportunity to significantly expand their customer base for managed services.

With Worry-Free XDR, Trend Micro is also introducing a new detection & response solution that is tailored to the needs of SMEs. It allows you to consolidate all of your detection, response, and investigation capabilities into a single agent from a single vendor to reduce costs and improve security.

Use Worry-Free XDR Co-Managed

Worry-Free XDR is also available as a co-managed offering, making it even easier for partners to get into the MSP business. This round-the-clock service is run by Trend Micro security experts and offers MSPs alarm monitoring, incident response and personalized remedial actions for their customers. Through cross-customer analysis, MSPs can also ensure that they are proactively protecting their entire customer base from similar attacks.

"Our partners are the first point of contact for many companies that have difficulties fending off more and more cyber attacks with overworked staff and a large number of different tools," says Christina Decker, Head of Channel & Alliances at Trend Micro Germany To provide a high-performance offering with our new portfolio with which you can protect companies of all sizes - from SMEs to large corporations - to the most modern standards.
