Sophos offers two new security switches. The high-end switches of the 200 series with 24 and 48 ports extend Sophos' integrated cyber security ecosystem.

After the launch of the first Sophos switches managed from the cloud in January 2022, the security specialist is now presenting two more 2.5G high-end models from the 200 series: the 24-port switch CS210-24FP and the 48-port switch CS210-48FP. Both models have been available through distribution and channel partners since June 14, 2022.

For hybrid working environments and remote

Especially for hybrid work environments and many remote jobs, the simple setup, the seamless integration into existing security and network environments and the central operation of all Sophos products used streamline and simplify management. With the cloud-based Sophos Central device management, which can be used to centrally manage all Sophos solutions, all security options and network settings are seamlessly and integrated administered. The local web interface, the command line interface or SNMP for additional configuration options are also available for administration.

1G and 2.5G ports with PoE

Both new models offer a mix of 1G and 2.5G ports and are equipped with Full Power over Ethernet (PoE). All 2.5G ports of the new Sophos switches also work at intermediate speeds such as 100 Mbit/s or 1 Gbit/s, so that connected devices can operate with different network transmission speeds (over Cat5e and Cat6 cables).
