Claroty and Rockwell Automation introduce new integrations to secure the most critical assets in industrial networks. Solution combines the OT transparency of CTD with the data management functions of AssetCentre.

The integration of Continuous Threat Detection (CTD) from Claroty, the Industrial Cybersecurity Company, with FactoryTalk AssetCentre from Rockwell Automation is available immediately. This enables joint customers to automatically recognize, protect and manage operating technology (OT), the Internet of Things (IoT) and industrial IoT (IIoT) in their industrial networks.

Risk and vulnerability assessment and correlation of CTD

The joint solution combines the OT transparency of CTD with the data management functions of AssetCentre in order to automate, optimize and centralize the inventory: The integration combines the risk and vulnerability assessment and correlation of CTD with the backup and recovery coverage in industrial networks from AssetCentre and includes highly flexible options for on-premise, cloud and hybrid deployment.

The main advantages and functions of CTD Connector for AssetCentre

  • Expansion of the CTD visibility ecosystem through a central, fully automatic OT inventory in the entire OT environment. Insight into hardware, firmware, model, rack slot, IP address, manufacturer and related details for all devices, including hard-to-identify, embedded assets and those located on levels 0-2.
  • Protection of the most critical assets and minimization of downtimes through continuous risk assessment and monitoring of weak points. This information is automatically correlated with the assets in the OT environment to provide tailored guidance on how to contain and remediate any risks and vulnerabilities that affect those assets.
  • Extend disaster recovery coverage by identifying critical assets that are not included in the disaster recovery plan. This allows these assets to be added and the security of the systems to be validated.
  • Greater efficiency and effectiveness of governance, risk and compliance projects as well as better and faster decisions through central access, optimized administration and actionable reports for all asset, risk and vulnerability data.

"The combination of the technical capabilities of Claroty CTD and Rockwell FactoryTalk AssetCentre gives customers an insight into their OT assets, the vulnerabilities and risks that assets are exposed to, and the reassurance that all critical assets are secure," said Jason (JP) Wright, Director of Digital Design and Visualization Apps at Rockwell Automation.
