If old computers are discarded, business data can easily fall into the wrong hands and thus become public. Because deleting is not the same as "deleting". O&O SafeErase 17 also securely deletes sensitive data under Windows 11. SafeErase Admin Edition is suitable for data deletion on all PCs and servers in the company.

O&O SafeErase allows you to securely delete and overwrite your data using recognized deletion methods so that reconstruction, even with special software, is no longer possible! The deletion of the entire computer including the system partition is possible without boot medium. When you restart the computer, the desired deletion process begins automatically. The SolidErase feature, which was specially developed for deleting SSDs, is resource-saving and thorough, so that the data cannot be recovered afterwards and the SSD is exposed to the lowest possible load.

Daily deletion of sensitive data

SafeErase ensures increased protection of sensitive data and supports all current browser versions. Cookies, form data or Internet histories that Microsoft Edge saves can be deleted individually or in bulk. With Google Chrome, the Chrome Extensions are also supported, so that any data stored here can also be deleted. With Mozilla Firefox, bookmarks and history can be deleted separately.

The integrated analysis function of O&O SafeErase searches for insecurely deleted files and allows them to be securely deleted immediately. Subsequent, secure deletion of files that have already been removed is also possible. The sensitive data is deleted and overwritten so securely that reconstruction, even with special software, is no longer possible.

Windows 11 support

New in version 17 is support for Windows 11, the latest operating system from Microsoft. Customers who have purchased new hardware can now securely erase not only their data from the old one before passing it on or discarding it, but also their sensitive data on their new device. However, SafeErase is also backward compatible with Windows 10, 8.1 and 8. A special O&O SafeErase 17 Server Edition will be available shortly.
