New awareness platform from Lucy Security: several awareness training courses possible in one campaign. The new version focuses on expanding a complete learning management system.

The Swiss company Lucy Security, one of the largest providers of IT security awareness training with over 10.000 installations worldwide and over 22 million trained users, presents its new version of the Lucy awareness platform. In the new version, the learning management system (LMS) in particular has been optimized and expanded. Lucy Security Platform 4.7.7 is now available for download.

The Lucy Security Platform

With Lucy Security, companies get a standard software platform to train employees using attack simulations. They can also use malware simulations to check the company-wide infrastructure and use the awareness platform to train employees on special cybersecurity topics. The results of the various tests are continuously checked with the software platform and finally enhanced with reporting functions. In this way, employees are motivated to develop a comprehensive understanding of security and implement it confidently. You can find the complete overview of functions here.

Lucy Security Platform 4.7.7. - the new features at a glance:

One of the new features of the new LUCY platform is the function that several courses can be bundled in an awareness campaign. Course libraries can now be created very easily and made available to users in the LMS. In addition, the user management has been optimized: User accounts from different user groups can be synchronized with the LUCY software via interfaces, for example (group-based LDAP sync).

The new version 4.7.7 focuses on the testing side. For example, if the LUCY administrator puts together a file-based phishing simulation for his users, he can store Excel files with macros in the phishing emails. The LUCY platform logs the opening of the Excel file. This helps companies to recognize how proficient users are in dealing with potentially dangerous file types and where there may be a need for further training.

The popular phishing incident button for Outlook has also been optimized. The phish button is an important tool in the fight against malicious emails and a central element in integrating employees into the company's security system. The multilingualism of the Phish-Bottons has been improved and additional configuration options have been added.
