Lucy Security presents its new version of the cybersecurity awareness platform. The version Lucy Security 4.7.5 is equipped with a new learning portal and phishing incident plugin.

The Swiss company Lucy Security AG is one of the world's leading providers of cybersecurity awareness with 10.000 installations and more than 22 million trained users. The new version of the Security Awareness Platform 4.7.5 is now available for companies and users via download.

The current version provides a better training experience in the learning portal, multilingualism in the phishing incident plugin and an even more intuitive and simple campaign creation and usability for administrators.

The Lucy Security Platform 4.7.5

With Lucy Security, companies get a standard software platform to test employees using attack simulations. They can also use malware simulations to check the company-wide infrastructure and use the learning platform to train employees on special cybersecurity topics. The results of the various tests can be continuously checked with the software platform and finally enhanced with reporting functions. In this way, employees are motivated to develop a comprehensive understanding of security and to implement it confidently. You can find the complete overview of functions here.

Many new features in the current version

New learning portal

In addition to phishing tests, Lucy Security's eLearning components have gained in importance in recent years. Users can be trained using hundreds of templates, all of which can be customized by the administrator. With the new version 4.7.5, this part of the Learning Management System (LMS) has been comprehensively revised. Users now have a training library that can be made available to them in a personalized manner. As a rule, users receive an email invitation to complete a training module. But it also works without emails: Users can now log in directly to their personal training portal and complete the training courses that have been activated for them and manage their training diplomas.

Multilingual incident plugin

A so-called phish button is an important tool in the fight against malicious emails and a central element in integrating employees into the organization's security system. The highly configurable LUCY Phishing Incident Plugin can now be used from Outlook to Gmail. The plugin can also be configured and maintained in multiple languages, which is a great relief for larger organizations.

Infrastructure test wizard

The Lucy Security Platform not only allows awareness training and phishing tests to be carried out, but also so-called infrastructure assessments. Such assessments answer the administrator's question, for example, "How far would malware get in my network in the event of a penetration?" Another popular assessment is the mail and web filter test, which answers the question "What types of files do I get through on the net, via mail program or web browser?" A wizard is now available for configuring these infrastructure tests and offers the administrator time and efficiency gains when setting up such audit campaigns.

Awareness training as an important component in a company's IT security strategy

In addition to IT security measures and the physical protection of the infrastructure, internal training for employees is also important for a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy in companies.

“In most cyber attacks, the criminals focus on the human being: Many successful attacks begin with so-called phishing, a social engineering trick. The attack takes place with fake emails or websites. Only a trained employee can react correctly to such attacks, ”says Palo Stacho, Co-Founder and Head of Operations at Lucy Security. “We are very happy about the completely redesigned platform. With this standard software platform, companies have a tool at their fingertips to test employees using attack simulations and to train them on special cybersecurity topics. "
