Ivantis introduces hyper automation platform for self-heal, self-secure and self-service from the cloud to the edge.

With "Ivanti Neurons", Ivanti has introduced a hyper-automation platform that enables companies to equip endpoints in the company network with automated self-healing functions. Ivanti Neurons supports IT teams with automation bots that quickly identify problems and security gaps and fix them on their own. In addition, it improves the speed of reaction and the cost balance of the IT departments. First adopters of the solution, such as Kingston University in London, have reduced unplanned network downtime by up to 63%, accelerated the deployment of security updates by 88%, and resolved up to 80% of endpoint problems before they were reported by users.

With the Neurons platform, Ivanti is addressing the rapid growth and complexity of devices, data volumes, remote workers and cyber security threats with hyper-automation. Ivanti supports companies in developing basic automation through in-depth learning skills for hyper-automation.

The new hyper-automation platform from Ivanti Neurons supports companies on four levels

  • Ivanti Neurons for Edge Intelligence enables IT departments to query the health of all edge devices in natural language and receive company-wide real-time information in seconds. The solution offers quick operational insights, a real-time inventory and security configurations across the entire periphery. A sensor-based architecture is used for this.
  • Ivanti Neurons for Healing includes automation bots for the automated detection, diagnosis and correction of configuration deviations, performance and compliance problems and security risks for endpoints. The automation of routine tasks paves the way to creating a truly self-healing IT environment that reduces time and costs and improves the user experience for employees.
  • Ivanti Neurons for Discovery delivers accurate, actionable information about all IT assets in minutes. Active and passive scanning and connectors to third-party providers give IT valuable insights into the device inventory in real time. These provide normalized hardware and software inventory data, information on software usage and usable insights in order to efficiently operate configuration and asset management databases (CMDB / AMDB).
  • Ivanti Neurons for Workspace provides a 360-degree view of devices, users, applications and services using real-time data. This enables first-level analysts to solve problems that previously had to be passed on to specialists. User and device views reduce complexity, long waiting times and high costs, resulting in faster problem resolution for the end user and higher productivity.

“Remote work is increasingly becoming the norm. Ivanti Neurons enables organizations to solve problems anywhere, secure devices and provide seamless workspace access for employees from anywhere,” said Nayaki Nayyar, Ivanti executive vice president and chief product officer. “Ivanti Neurons is always on and fulfilling IT departments' desire to 'shift left' with automation bots that autonomously track, secure and update endpoints in edge computing.”

"With Ivanti Neurons, we have made significant savings in asset and warranty management and will continue to do so," confirms Daniel Bolton, Head of Technical Services at Kingston University London. "By proactively monitoring device status, such as battery power, Ivanti Neurons provides us with usable information in real time so that we can automate or make more informed decisions and thus keep our users productive."
