IT Complete platform for remote work

New innovations from Kaseya strengthen the IT Complete platform for remote work and compliance requirements. Thanks to the updates, IT experts can recognize virtual machines, adapt cybersecurity training modules and find their way despite constant changes in the CMMC guidelines.

Kaseya, the leading provider of IT and security management solutions for managed service providers (MSPs) and small to medium-sized businesses (SMB), introduces several new product enhancements and workflow integrations. These strengthen the Kaseya IT Complete platform, a comprehensive suite of integrated IT tools developed for the multifunctional IT professional.

IT teams overwhelmed by remote work and cyber attacks

IT teams were already overwhelmed last year due to the demands of remote work and increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks. At the same time, small businesses are trying to cope with the complicated legal compliance obligations. To help MSPs and SMBs address these pressing and evolving problems, Kaseya product innovations focus on optimizing its comprehensive security and compliance suites.

“From cybersecurity issues to compliance policies, MSPs and SMBs face increasingly complex challenges,” said Mike Puglia, Kaseya's chief strategy officer. “Faced with tight budgets and increasing demands in a short period of time, companies need technologies that are comprehensive, automated and reasonably priced. This allows them to make better use of their limited resources and adapt to the rapidly evolving IT environment. The latest features and integrations in our IT Complete platform include enhancements that save IT professionals valuable time otherwise wasted switching between disparate applications and manual processes.”

Significant product improvements

Unified RMM: VSA 9.5.4 offers a growing list of features associated with Kaseya's Unified RMM strategy, which holistically addresses the ever-growing ecosystem of connected devices:

Virtual machine network discovery

Virtual Machine Network Discovery automates the discovery and mapping of all VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V hosts and virtual machines. It gives users more transparency thanks to an extended overview of the network topology of the entire IT environment. This enables users to identify and correct potential problems more effectively.

Extended Linux support

VSA 9.5.4 extends the Live Connect functionality for Linux and enables users to remotely troubleshoot problems on Linux devices to ensure high system availability. With this update, users can view real-time information on Linux devices from a single dashboard. This increases efficiency and allows optimized management of all devices in the IT environment.

Backup and disaster recovery

The latest addition to Unitrends' Recovery Series appliances, Gen 9 MAX, provides powerful computing power for on-site recovery and application hosting. The Gen 9 MAX appliances are available through a subscription model that enables organizations to protect their data with minimal upfront costs.

Compliance

Kaseya Compliance Manager for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) automates the cybersecurity assessment and documentation process established by the Department of Defense. It is now available for the 130 control points that make up CMMC Level 3. This addition provides MSPs with the ability to help SMBs navigate levels 1 through 3 of the CMMC as well as the NIST 800-171 interim rule.

Safety

BullPhish ID users can now create customized emails and training kits for simulations that mimic industry-specific phishing attacks. In addition, it offers a new user portal to manage the training courses you have completed.
Graphus has expanded its functions to include the detection of internal e-mail attacks that originate from and are also aimed at users within an organization. The extension alerts users when an anomaly is detected in the trustworthy profile of the internal sender and thus offers even greater protection against compromising business emails.
