With the Cybersecurity Suite MetaDefender, ProSoft offers protection against cyber attacks as high-level IT security for critical infrastructures. OPSWAT's multi-layered cybersecurity platform bundles various solutions for holistic threat prevention.

More and more companies from the KRITIS environment are affected by cyber attacks, including clinics and hospitals, tank farm operators and airport service providers. In view of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, security experts warn of a growing threat to federal and state authorities, municipal administrations and generally all companies that operate critical infrastructures. The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) therefore advises taking appropriate precautions and ramping up protective measures to ward off cyber attacks. The IT security specialist ProSoft offers maximum protection against cyber attacks with the OPSWAT Cybersecurity Suite MetaDefender. The end-to-end solution offers companies with critical infrastructures reliable protection against all kinds of cyber attacks.

Malicious code variants: BSI records a plus of 22 percent

Attacks on the business-critical infrastructure of companies are constantly increasing and the methods are becoming ever more complex and sophisticated. In the report on the IT security situation in 2021, the BSI identified over 144.000.000 (+22% compared to the previous year) new malicious code variants in the reporting period (06/2020-05/2021). That's an average of 394.000 new malware samples per day. In view of the current situation caused by the Russia-Ukraine conflict, there is an increased need for security in order to successfully ward off current attack vectors. Classic behavior and signature-based anti-malware protection measures are no longer sufficient to guarantee reliable protection against cyber attacks. The solution: The cybersecurity platform MetaDefender from OPSWAT. By combining various "best-of-breed" technologies within the OPSWAT ecosystem, it offers maximum protection against current threat scenarios.

MetaDefender Core - Multiscanning with up to 35 AV engines

At the heart of OPSWAT's MetaDefender Cybersecurity Suite is the anti-malware multi-scanner MetaDefender Core. The intelligent tool can simultaneously scan files with up to 35 AV engines from different manufacturers and detect and block 99,9% of all threats. AV tools from different geographical regions are used. In this way, new threats that initially appear regionally can also be identified early on in IT security.

Email Gateway Security

OPSWAT's "next-generation" e-mail security tool protects critical infrastructures and company networks against attacks via e-mail. MetaDefender's e-mail module bi-directionally prevents malware from reaching the recipient or critical content from leaving the company.

OPSWAT sandbox with stealth mode

In order to protect themselves effectively against malware, many companies already use a sandbox, i.e. an isolated area in front of the network in which malware should be able to be detected. However, sandboxing can also be circumvented, e.g. by fragmenting the malicious code beforehand. With stealth mode, OPSWAT has developed a sandbox technology to achieve higher throughput, better scalability and accuracy in detecting intelligent malware without being detected.
