The Munich software company Miray Software AG presents HDShredder 6, the latest version of the tried and tested tool for security erasure of discs, which is now available.
Miray Software presents HDShredder 6 - With the release of version 6, HDShredder has been completely renewed and taken to a new level. All apps and components, some of which date back to the time HDShredder 3.2 was created in 2008, have been replaced with new apps and components. Of all Miray Software products, HDShredder 6 holds the record for the most completely new features added, 33 in number, in a single version update.

This new version of HDShredder is based not only on the ideas and many years of experience of the developers, but also on the feedback from the user community. As has been the case for many years, this feedback is an integral part of the development of all Miray products. New and improved security erase apps
In HDShredder 6, all existing apps for secure deletion have been developed from scratch and two completely new apps for deletion with the device standards SecureErase and Sanitize have been added. With these apps, the device-internal deletion mechanisms implemented by the data carriers themselves can be used and controlled, which are available in many newer data carriers.
A particularly popular edition among professional users is the HDShredder Professional Edition Portable, which enables mobile and flexible use of the program. HDShredder 6 Professional Edition Portable can be started on an unlimited number of systems, typically at the respective locations of a technician, using a USB token directly and without prior installation.
