Cyber defense company is now providing companies with their own learning management system security awareness training via the LTI interface and is responding to the great interest in employee training. G DATA's extensive courses can be integrated into an existing learning platform with just a few clicks.

G DATA provides companies that already have their own Learning Management System (LMS) for e-learning with content for security awareness via the LTI interface. Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) is the standard for integrating learning applications into learning platforms. In just a few steps, those responsible can integrate the extensive range of courses into an existing LMS. In this way, you reduce the effort involved in integrating a new learning platform and also save license costs. Further advantages: Employees learn in a familiar interface in the company's corporate design and do not need an additional introduction to a second system.

Awareness training via the corporate design interface

"With the new offer, we are meeting the wishes and needs of numerous customers who need content for awareness training but are already using a learning management system," says Nikolas Schran, Product Owner Cyber Defense Academy at G DATA CyberDefense. "In view of the continuing high threat scenarios in the area of IT security, more and more companies are relying on awareness training and thus enable their employees to react to dangers such as phishing emails at an early stage."

The new offer from G DATA covers the common LTI standards of version 1 and 1.1. The web-based training can be conveniently embedded in the system with a virtual key. Employees can start training straight away. The G DATA awareness training courses cover all topics related to IT security in a total of 37 learning units, for example working in the cloud, what social engineering is all about or how employees recognize a phishing email. The didactic concept combines tips, videos and multiple-choice questions and is suitable for employees from all departments. And with six languages, the training courses can also be used internationally.
