Sky EEC promises its customers an unbreakable messenger service for crypto cell phones. Therefore, the service seems to be very popular, especially with criminals. Criminologists also know this and have already cracked the second crypto cell phone, overheard criminals and now struck.

European police forces have struck another major blow against organized crime. According to Spiegel Online, the Belgian federal prosecutor's office with 1500 investigators searched more than 200 houses, business premises and apartments in Belgium in the morning.

Sky EEC is believed to be the successor to crypto phone company Encrochat, which promoted unbreakable cell phones among criminals. Investigators often call the messenger service pre-installed on the crypto cell phone “WhatsApp for gangsters”. The French police managed to infiltrate the company's server in France last year.

Hack from Sky EEC

As the Belgian media first reported, essential investigative findings in the proceedings are based on a hack by the provider of crypto technology. According to information from SPIEGEL and SPIEGEL TV, European security authorities succeeded a few months ago in cracking the encryption of the crypto service provider Sky EEC, which is popular in the criminal community.
