Conpal LAN Crypt mobile Client 3.0 for iOS and Android offers secure external file sharing in its enterprise encryption solution. 2Go functionality facilitates mobile working with password-protected file exchange outside the organization.

With version 3.0, Conpal is adding a significant functional extension to its enterprise encryption solution Conpal LAN Crypt for iOS and Android: With the "2Go" functionality, it is now possible for users to exchange files securely and password-protected with external contacts. Recipients can install the Conpal LAN Crypt app from the App or Play Store, with which they can decrypt the file, edit it further and send it again. The app is free for private users.

Encrypted mobile file sharing

Mobile working is an integral part of everyday life in numerous companies, including regulated industries that work with sensitive customer data. Whether field service in the insurance sector, external appointments for law firms or tax offices as well as mobile care or health services: For such application scenarios, Conpal LAN Crypt enables the secure, encrypted sharing of files via mobile devices with the iOS and Android operating systems. So far, Conpal LAN Crypt users could only securely exchange files with internal company contacts in this way.

Legally compliant file exchange

With "2Go", Conpal LAN Crypt Mobile has a functional extension that makes it easier for users to work on the go: It is now also possible to securely share files with users outside the company. The user starts encrypting the file and can set a password for opening it. He communicates this password to the recipient separately via a channel of his choice. The recipient can decrypt the file by downloading the free Conpal LAN Crypt applications from the App or Play Store and using the password provided by the creator. He can now edit the decrypted file and send it again.

Secure, in the cloud, in Messenger or by email

The data cannot be viewed in plain text at any time during transport. They can be stored securely in the cloud or on a file share without operators or administrators having access to them. The protection is also maintained as an e-mail attachment or in a messenger. For Conpal LAN Crypt business users, this makes it easier to exchange information with partners and customers, and the workflow is simplified. Important documents can be sent to external contacts promptly and do not have to wait for processing in the office or for dispatch by post.

"The past two years have shown that digital, time and location-independent options are required to ensure the legally secure, trustworthy exchange of urgent documents," explains Harald Schütz, Corporate Product Manager at Conpal. “With Conpal LAN Crypt 2Go, we are giving our customers a tool that helps them securely exchange files with contacts on the go, without the channel or storage medium being specified or restricted. We are convinced that mobile working habits will shape the future and plan to provide our customers with further helpful tools for seamless document exchange processes with the highest level of data security.”
