Digital document traffic: new remote signature platform

Share post

SIGNIUS, one of the leading specialists for services and products in the field of electronic trust services, today presents its new SIGNIUS Professional solution. With the online platform, eIDAS-compliant, qualified and / or advanced electronic remote signatures can be created.

It is safe and easy to use thanks to the intuitive user interface. Documents can be signed in minutes from any location without additional hardware. The platform offers qualified signatures including identification from 55 cents per signature. SIGNIUS is currently the only provider that enables qualified signatures at the price of advanced signatures.

SIGNIUS Professional is suitable for end users as well as for companies (SMEs) and organizations - for example for internal signing processes or digital communication with customers for onboarding, contracting and transactions.

Indispensable on the way to a paperless office

Electronic signatures are a key step on the way to fully digital and legally secure document traffic. Intermediate steps that were previously necessary, such as printing out and rescanning, are no longer necessary. This saves costs, time and space, optimizes workflows and makes business processes easier and more convenient for your own employees, but also for partners and customers.

Every new user of SIGNIUS Professional first goes through a remote identity check. VideoIDent, AusweisIDent and other eIDAS-compliant procedures without media disruptions are available for this. To this end, SIGNIUS cooperates with Verimi, a renowned service provider for digital identity management. There is no identification process for users who are already registered with Verimi. With SIGNIUS Professional you can electronically sign documents directly.

Electronic signing made easy

The qualified electronic signature (QES) is the digital equivalent of the handwritten signature and corresponds to the same security level. It is necessary wherever there is a statutory requirement in writing or the risk of liability is high. The most important guidelines such as eIDAS, KYC and AML are still adhered to during identification.

It does not take longer than 30 seconds for the document to be signed. After the document to be signed has been uploaded, users receive an SMS password with which they confirm their signature. The document is then automatically provided with an electronic signature and, if necessary, sent to other signatories by e-mail. Finally it is available for download.

Important functions of SIGNIUS Professional

SIGNIUS Professional offers numerous advantages that can significantly accelerate workflows:

  • One identity check, many signatures: After the user has set up his account with a one-time identity check, he can sign any number of documents in the shortest possible time.
  • Multiple and batch signatures: The number and order of the signatories can be selected individually. In addition, several documents can be signed at the same time within just one signature process.
  • Document preview: The users can always see what content they are writing and who has already signed or will sign.
  • Visual representation of signers: An additional page is attached to the document, on which a list of all signers can be found.
  • Manage documents in folders: Documents can be grouped in any number of folders, which enables flexible management that can be adapted to individual requirements.
  • No hardware required: there are no acquisition and maintenance costs for hardware. Cards and card readers are no longer required.
  • Secure signing process: The digital signing is based on Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) through 2FA (2-factor authentication).

SIGNIUS Professional can be seamlessly integrated into existing document management systems and workflow processes using a simple API.

The solution for large companies: SIGNIUS Enterprise

SIGNIUS offers a special enterprise version for large organizations with high document throughput, such as banks, the healthcare sector or administrative authorities. As a remote, on-premise or hybrid solution, this includes digital contract management, document signing and customer identification (onboarding) in accordance with the requirements of eIDAS, KYC and AMLA. The solution can also be integrated into existing systems such as CRM or ERP. The degree of integration can be individually determined depending on the requirements of the company - from the mere adaptation of visual elements to complete integration into the existing systems.
