With the YuLinc solution, secure and privacy-compliant web conferences from Germany can be implemented. The managed security service provider netucate enables legally compliant webinars and secure virtual meetings. All systems are hosted in Germany and are BSI certified.

Web conferences, virtual meetings and webinars have become the norm during the corona pandemic. Programs from US providers in particular have gained momentum since last year. But data protection officers are now calling for more legally compliant alternatives. Netucate systems GmbH, a provider of webinar systems, recognized this gap years ago and positioned itself as a managed security service provider for web conference systems. The software solutions guarantee a high standard of security and data protection.

Web conferences: "Hosted and certified in Germany"

"Today companies are more security-conscious and check exactly where and how their data is stored and processed - to protect employees and customers, but also to protect intellectual property," says founder and managing director Karl-Ulrich Schweizer. Above all, companies such as banks and insurance companies that store sensitive personal customer data must ensure a high standard of data protection.

A problem that almost all common providers have in common: They use services such as Amazon Web Services or the clouds from Microsoft or Google, which can usually only offer the inadequate US Privacy Act. In addition, there is the threat of the USA Patriot Act, which allows US authorities covert access to the servers of US subsidiaries. Personal data and intellectual property are therefore not secure. In July 2020, the European Court of Justice (ECJ) also declared the EU-US Privacy Shield to be invalid. Since then, the legal bar for data protection has been a little higher.

“Hosted and certified in Germany” is therefore one of netucate's unique selling points. The systems are operated for this in a special private cloud. This cloud is hosted exclusively in Germany and is certified by the Federal Office for Information Security in accordance with BSI 27001.

Safe and versatile

YuLinc is characterized by high data security and comprehensive functionality. YuLinc runs in every browser - without any installation - and thus enables fast and problem-free use in the open Internet as well as in corporate intranets. State-of-the-art webRTC and HTML5 technologies provide all the functions that are part of a good web conference or webinar today. Webcam and audio are just as natural as a whiteboard, the presentation of all common office media and PDFs as well as break-out rooms. Users can also access and send YouTube, for example, via the program.
