Bitdefender has merged its corporate business into a new "Business Solutions Group" and hired experienced industry executives: Steve Kelley will act as President and Managing Director of the new business unit and Chris Brazdziunas will take on the role of Senior Vice President Product and Service Engineering.

The reorganization underscores Bitdefender's focus on the enterprise security market - with its own business unit and a new leadership team reporting directly to CEO Florin Talpes. This should ensure continuous market and product leadership. Bitdefender is a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, protecting over 500 million systems in more than 150 countries.

The new Business Solutions Group will cover all aspects of market entry and product development, including sales, marketing, product, engineering, services, technology licensing and country partnerships. This business unit is separated from the Consumer Business Group and enables full concentration on the growing opportunities in the corporate market.

CEO Florin Talpes: "A natural step"

Florin Talpes, Bitdefender Founder and CEO, commented: “Fine-tuning the allocation of resources between Bitdefender's corporate and consumer businesses is a natural step given the increasing size and complexity of the business. This development is also being triggered by the growing demand for Bitdefender's market-proven technology for companies of all sizes in light of the current global situation. Steve and Chris add years of leadership experience in global cybersecurity to the Bitdefender executive team. This will benefit the company's growth targets. "

Steve Kelley, President and CEO of the Business Solutions Group at Bitdefender

As President and CEO of the Business Solutions Group, Steve Kelley's job is to make Bitdefender a globally recognized leader in cybersecurity and a high-growth provider in the enterprise market. With nearly twenty years of experience in cybersecurity - mainly in global go-to-market roles - he brings broad and in-depth industry knowledge in all areas of product management, product marketing, business development, and sales and marketing management to Bitdefender.

Steve Kelley: “The cybersecurity market is at a turning point. There are increasing areas of attack due to the current phenomenon of working from home, the shifting of workloads from data centers to public, private, hybrid clouds and the rapid introduction of managed detection and response. "

Chris Brazdziunas, SVP Product and Service Engineering, Bitdefender

New SVP Product and Service Engineering, Chris Brazdziunas, has a track record of building scalable, high-performing global organizations and brings extensive experience in aligning product and service strategies to the cybersecurity market. She will pursue a customer and market-oriented course in product and service strategy and thus complement the existing highly organized security expertise and research.

Chris Brazdziunas: “In this new situation with distributed corporate environments, we are seeing an increase in attacks on users, devices and servers. This increases the security risk for companies considerably. With Bitdefender's leading endpoint and cloud workload protection solutions in conjunction with MDR, companies can reduce security risk quickly and with minimal internal operating costs. "

Kelley and Brazdziunas are part of a team of more than 500 professionals in Bitdefender's Business Solutions Group. Bitdefender employs more than 1.700 people worldwide, half of whom are technicians and research professionals. The company has grown rapidly for the past five years, capitalizing on the rapid expansion of the B2B segment and the growing demand for high-performance consumer solutions.
