Barracuda is expanding its product and service offering for managed service providers. Barracuda CloudGen Access for MSPs and Barracuda RMM minimize cybersecurity risks by working remotely. New migration service helps MSPs implement the RMM platform.

Many employees of companies and institutions have long ceased to work exclusively at the office workplaces assigned to them. The development towards mobile working is progressing. To minimize the cybersecurity risks associated with the increasing number of remote workers, Barracuda has expanded its portfolio of products and services for managed service providers to include Barracuda CloudGen Access for MSPs. In addition, the company has released important updates for its cloud-based remote monitoring and management platform (RMM).

Zero Trust Network Access for Customers

With Barracuda CloudGen Access, MSPs can offer their customers Zero Trust Network Access, extending their security services to protect their customers' resources and integrate control for all unmanaged BYOD devices. There are no changes to the existing work processes of the customers. Barracuda CloudGen Access has been available since the end of last year, after Barracuda acquired Fyde. The newly added multi-tenant management and monthly pricing options for CloudGen Access make it easier for managed service providers to implement and manage the solution.

Managed Workplace is now called Barracuda RMM

The RMM platform previously known as Managed Workplace is now called Barracuda RMM. In the two years since acquiring Managed Workplace RMM, Barracuda MSP has added connectivity to Office 365 APIs, automated software updates and third-party patch management via Barracuda Advanced Software Management to the scalable, cloud-based platform.

New migration service for Barracuda RMM

To round off the offer, Barracuda MSP offers a new migration service for Barracuda RMM. The service includes setup and configuration and ensures that existing preferences and needs are taken into account. In addition, the service includes a coordinated onboarding process with the MSP as well as the establishment of service plans, branding, monitoring and alerting guidelines, automation and maintenance plans including patch management. Integrations, such as a professional service automation tool, Office 365, virtualization, backup and others.
