Barracuda again earns AWS Competency status for its Web Application Firewall (WAF). In addition to the CloudGen Firewall, the Barracuda WAF now also has the status.
Barracuda has again received Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Competency status in the Application Security category. The award proves that the cloud security specialist has reliable technology and in-depth expertise and can provide solutions seamlessly on AWS.
Barracuda Web Application Firewall has had AWS Security Competency status since 2016. In order to earn this status, Barracuda WAF had to solve extensive security requirements and demonstrate specific application protection measures - the latter supported by customer examples.

Since 2018, Barracuda CloudGen Firewall has also held the status. This makes Barracuda one of the first advanced technology partners in the AWS Partner Network (APN) to hold two of the coveted certifications. The renewed attainment of AWS security competency marks Barracuda as a member of the partner network that offers specialized software that helps companies of all sizes to launch, develop and deploy complex security projects on AWS.
