The new high-speed business routers LANCOM 1926VAG-5G and LANCOM 1900EF-5G combine 5G mobile communications with state-of-the-art SD-WAN and high security with VPN channels for the first time.

With high speeds and low latency times, the new 5G standard offers a wide range of applications. The new high-end routers from LANCOM can use the 5G module as a backup in the event of failure of their wired access or as a high-performance stand-alone primary access. A bandwidth expansion with load distribution in the network is also possible. Closed cellular networks, so-called campus networks, with their own 5G infrastructure are ideal for extensive company premises in large-scale industrial scenarios. This "private 5G" guarantees exclusive access with the highest capacity, availability and data security for business-critical data traffic.

Secure connection of home offices via VPN

Both LANCOM 5G routers can use up to four Internet connections for maximum bandwidth and ideal load distribution at the same time. Using Advanced Routing and Forwarding (ARF), the up to 64 isolated and separately routing IP contexts offer an efficient way of routing all IP applications via a central router and securely separating the various communication channels from one another. The 25 (optionally up to 100) integrated IPSec VPN channels ensure reliable encryption and the secure connection of locations and home offices to the company network.

Radically simple: configuration via SD-WAN

In combination with the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC), the new LANCOM 5G routers pave the way for fully automated management: Using software-defined WAN (SD-WAN), they enable the automatic establishment of secure VPN connections between locations, including network virtualization and backup: The VPN functionality is activated with a click of the mouse and the desired VLANs are selected for the respective location. The complex configuration of the individual tunnel endpoints is no longer necessary.
