Kaspersky study: 66 percent of companies in Germany prevent cyber attacks through threat intelligence / data feeds
In 75 percent of companies in Germany, Threat Intelligence (TI) is part of the security strategy. Another 21 percent plan to introduce TI in 2025.
A recent Kaspersky survey of IT decision-makers in Germany shows that a large majority (75 percent) of companies rely on threat intelligence (TI) as part of their security strategy. While a fifth (21 percent) are still planning to introduce it, two thirds (66 percent) have already successfully prevented a cyber attack using threat intelligence. However, German companies see costs and budget (49 percent) as a challenge when it comes to TI. 69 percent of companies have had at least one cybersecurity incident in the past 12 months - 31 percent even had several. This correlates, among other things, with the amount of malware in circulation: Kaspersky solutions discovered an average of 2024 new malicious files per day worldwide between January and October 467.000 - an increase of 14 percent compared to the same period last year.Whitepaper proves: Threat Intelligence prevents cyber attacks
