8 million DDoS attacks in the first half of the year
The number of DDoS attacks continues to increase. Since Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, DDoS attacks on German facilities, such as airports or authorities, have become more and more frequent. In the first half of the year there were already over 8 million. What began in 1974 with the first DDoS attack on the University of Illinois is now, according to NETSCOUT, almost 8 million attacks in the first half of 2023.
