Facebook Business in the sights of attackers
Cybersecurity researchers recently unveiled a new, large-scale phishing campaign targeting Facebook Business users. Since December 20, 2024, the researchers say, several thousand emails containing notifications of alleged copyright infringement have been sent to employees of companies with Facebook Business accounts. More than 12.000 victims have been identified so far – almost exclusively based in the US (45,0 percent), the EU (45,5 percent), and Australia (9,5 percent).
