CrowdStrike Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based endpoint and workload protection, has announced that CrowdStrike Falcon has received another AAA award from the independent testing organization SE Labs.

In the latest Advanced Security Test, which belongs to the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) test category, CrowdStrike Falcon achieved a 100 percent detection rate for attacks. This independent assessment confirms the extensive and comprehensive capabilities of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform in detecting relevant threat activity in complex attack chains.

Falcon platform against hacker attacks

SE Labs tested the Falcon platform against a range of hacking attacks designed to compromise systems and infiltrate target networks in the same way that criminals and other attackers infiltrate systems and networks. The Falcon platform achieved a 100 percent hit rate in correctly identifying legitimate applications, files, and other objects such as URLs, and an overall 99 percent hit rate in detecting and protecting systems from sophisticated, targeted attacks. This test also used the new Falcon Identity Threat Protection module for the first time, which immediately identified and blocked all attempts to use stolen credentials across all threat chains, thus stopping the attempts at reconnaissance, lateral movement and persistence and thus the Proven effectiveness of the Zero Trust solution of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform.

SE Labs places a strong emphasis on “testing like hackers” to create real-world scenarios. The evaluation, based on the MITER ATT&CK framework, makes it easier for companies to identify the solutions that are right for them. Earlier this year, CrowdStrike was again named the winner for Best Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) in the SE Labs 2021 Annual Report. Additionally, CrowdStrike received the highest AAA rating in SE Labs' Enterprise Endpoint Protection, Q3 2021 report for the thirteenth time since March 2018.
