Kaspersky offers its range of new Professional Service packages for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The customized, tailored support products help organizations get the most out of their cybersecurity resources.

The Professional Service Packages support IT teams with IT infrastructure health checks, software implementation, seamless upgrades, vulnerability and patch management, and encryption for mobile storage. This optimizes protective measures.

Services adapted to threat landscape

With an ever-changing threat landscape, professional cybersecurity services are essential for organizations of all sizes. SMBs in particular, which are under particular pressure to improve operational efficiencies, need to focus on their core business and rely on optimal cybersecurity implementations. According to a recent Kaspersky study, companies in Germany are planning to allocate up to eight percent of their IT budget to cyber security over the next three years. Professional services as a means of improving cybersecurity are at the top of their list of preferred budget spends.

Cybersecurity specifically for SMEs

Kaspersky's Professional Service packages cover the core cybersecurity needs of midsize businesses: assessment, implementation and configuration. In addition, there is a Health Check Service, which includes three different levels of coverage, as well as the implementation of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business, Kaspersky Security for Virtualization Light Agent, Kaspersky Security Center Cloud Console and Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum, and an upgrade to Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business. For each package, the results are clearly described and the scope of services and the duration are clarified and defined in advance.
Kaspersky Professional Services includes five different packages:

Health Check Service Package
Analysis of customer policies, audit, health check, identification of current and potential problems in customer's infrastructure and reporting and recommendations.

Deployment Service Package
Creation of basic policies, installation of key Kaspersky applications and protection for an agreed number of systems and other functions.

Upgrade Service Package
Installation of the latest version of Kaspersky Security Center, transfer of settings and policies from customer-created backups, and other features.

Hard Disk and Removable Drive Encryption Service Package
Configure authentication agent and implement full disk encryption on an agreed number of disks and portable storage and/or configure file-level encryption.

Vulnerability & Patch Management Service Package
Configuration and setup of basic policies and demonstration of the main scenarios and typical situations faced by administrators and other features.

Relief for IT administrators in companies

"Our new professional services portfolio and our experts make the work of IT administrators in companies much easier," explains Oleg Gorobets, Senior Global Product Marketing Manager at Kaspersky. “Our experts provide support with updating, configuring software or switching to Kaspersky products and solutions. This allows employees to concentrate on other tasks in order to increase the profitability of the company. The main feature of the Professional Service Packages is their simplicity: Interested customers only have to add the desired packages to their contract and Kaspersky will take care of the rest.”
