Network Detection and Response (NDR) is no longer reserved for large companies: With NovaCommand from ForeNova, small and medium-sized companies can now protect themselves against cybercrime.

The inexpensive and simple solution combats attacks at the network level. It offers a visualized 360-degree view of the data traffic within the company network as well as the traffic in and out of the network and ensures sophisticated anomaly detection. The solution reduces possible damage for small and medium-sized companies - for example from ransomware or hacked IoT devices - by means of early, automated reactions to attacks and thus minimizes the business risk.

NDR for small businesses too

Network Detection and Response is a young and rapidly growing area within cybersecurity that identifies threats by analyzing data traffic. The market watchers from IDC spoke in December 2020 of an annual growth of the market segment of 24 percent year-on-year.

NovaCommand is intended to help small and medium-sized companies to recognize the increasingly sophisticated attacks across the constantly growing attack surface of their IT resources, to minimize false alarms, to prioritize protective measures and to automatically eliminate dangers. Using artificial intelligence, NovaCommand identifies every asset in the network and analyzes the complete metadata and network traffic - both internal traffic ("East / West") and external communication ("North / South"). The solution is designed in such a way that it is fully GDPR-compliant and can be integrated with other existing defense technologies such as endpoint security, EDR, firewall, SIEM and SOAR.

Intuitive interface

Security analysts can control every process and every asset via the intuitive interface. This gives you an understandable picture of the external and internal risks in real time. The use of AI helps, among other things, to avoid false positives and to react automatically to threats.

The core features include:

  • automated detection of all network resources
  • context-based analysis of all network traffic
  • AI-assisted detection of anomalies
  • proactive threat detection
  • integrated interaction with other security technologies
  • visualized dashboard
  • highly automated response

Paul Smit, Solutions Architect at ForeNova: “Small and medium-sized businesses are an increasingly popular target for cyber criminals. They don't have the time or resources to investigate what's going on on their network, let alone the resources to counter threats. For the first time, ForeNova offers you an all-round view of the entire attack surface, paired with automated, AI-supported detection and reaction. And all of this with an easy-to-implement and affordable solution that can also be used by companies with few security staff. "
