nGeniusONE: Extended Alerts for ServiceNow

The NETSCOUT integration module enables nGeniusONE to generate advanced warning messages for ServiceNow ITOM with a contextual start function for service triage. ServiceNow ITOM users can query nGeniusONE from any other alarm with this context. nGeniusONE dashboards and reports help visualize these alarm conditions in and out of ServiceNow ITOM.

The integration features of NETSCOUT nGeniusONE and ServiceNow ITOM include

Early Warning System – NETSCOUT's solution provides complementary network and service visibility that extends the information available in ServiceNow ITOM. NETSCOUT provides 24×7 network visibility for any device vendor, data center, service, technology or cloud as well as continuous service dependency with its Adaptive Service Intelligence (ASI) Smart Data. This integration improves the quality of information sent by nGeniusONE to generate "Alerts", "Events" and "Incidents" in ServiceNow with real-time visibility on application layers from NETSCOUT.

Integrated Troubleshooting - nGeniusONE sends alerts to ServiceNow ITOM containing a contextual link so that users can easily investigate and quickly identify the cause of any service degradation or failure. In addition, ServiceNow users can seamlessly access nGeniusONE to investigate and resolve other alarms. NGeniusONE's service triage approach leads to rapid identification of service issues (often within minutes) along with the number of customers affected.
