Sophos has published a whitepaper on a management study in DACH: Boss, how do you feel about cyber security?. How present is the topic of IT security in the management levels of companies?

How is the security awareness of the management level in the central industries in Germany, Austria and Switzerland - Sophos has dealt intensively with this previously little asked topic in the last six months. IT personnel were explicitly excluded from this study.

With the help of the study, which the market research institute Ipsos carried out for Sophos, the effects of international crises, the willingness to invest in IT infrastructures and the own security findings of the executive floors in DACH could be documented with figures.
In addition to individual needs in trade, manufacturing and services, contradictions also came to light, which should give company management impulses to improve their IT security in the environment of increasingly complex and diffusely localizable cyber attacks. There were also some significant differences between the countries and sectors surveyed.

Sophos has now summarized and illustrated the compact results of the various segments, some of which have already been published separately, in a detailed white paper. As an overview, to deepen, to read and as a suggestion.
