This new name for the company's market-leading Personal Cyber Protection solution better reflects the evolution from legacy data and systems backup software to a comprehensive all-in-one solution that combines next-generation antimalware technology with world-class Backup functions combined under one user-friendly management console.
Data protection and cyber security
The need for a combination of effective data protection and cyber security has become obvious in everyday life. Companies depend on the constant availability and integrity of their data, while private and other individual users worldwide send and receive large amounts of sensitive information via remote connections. In response, cyber criminals have increased the scope and complexity of their attacks. With advances in automating these threats, nobody is “too small to be attacked” anymore.
Backup plus security
Acronis has recognized the changing challenges for data protection and has accordingly been developing its solutions in the direction of cyber protection since 2017 in order to meet these modern requirements.
