Many IT decision-makers in Germany already know the advantage that threat data feeds can give a company. With the latest information on campaigns and attack scenarios, companies have the information they need for their security solutions, including firewalls, to ward off attacks in advance. The latest Kaspersky study shows that 66 percent of companies were able to fend off cyberattacks on their systems. But only because the protection solution was aware of the threat data and was able to react accordingly. Between January and October 2024, Kaspersky solutions detected an average of 467.000 new malicious files per day worldwide – an increase of 14 percent compared to the same period last year. This information is also available as a data feed and forms the basis for threat intelligence (TI). The study also shows that more than 20 percent of companies are still foregoing their knowledge advantage against cyberattacks.
